After working on those models from Mad Puppet earlier in the week (see previous post) I got inspired about all things Scummy and resolved to add yet more hapless down-and-outs to my gang of house-less lowlifes scraping by in the worst neighborhoods of Hive City.
I cannot for the life of me remember where I got this guy from, just that he’s an old metal model that I’ve had knocking around for ages. I’m sure someone in the comments will recognise him and be able to point me in the right direction. Anyway, he certainly looks like scum to me!
This next guy started out as a Chaos cultist from the Dark Vengeance starter set for Warhammer 40k but I reckon he looks more like a scummer so I just snipped off the Chaos icons and gave him a quick repaint.
Lastly, for now, this guy is made from the official Necromunda hive scum kit with a head-swap from Pteraxii Sterylizors of the Adeptus Mechanicus.
Here’s the whole gang, ready to hit the mean streets and prove to everyone that you don’t need the backing of one of the great houses if you want to die pointlessly in a gutter – anyone can do it!
At some point I will definitely return to my scum gang, they’re loads of fun to build and paint, and I’ve already got various other models earmarked to join them. In the new year though I want to return to Necromunda and focus on getting my Orlocks up and running – they’ve been waiting for attention for far, far too long.
